Das Spiel Dystopian Wars von Spartan Games hat uns 2011 einige nette Spielabende beschert. Da lag es nahe, es auf der Tactica 2012 zu präsentieren.

Dystopian Wars ist ein Seekriegsspiel mit Luftunterstützng. Zumindest spielen wir nur diesen Teil. Die Landstreitkräfte haben uns bisher nicht interessiert.

Eine schöne Seegefechtsplatte zu bauen, ist eine große Herausforderung. Wasser hat ja bekanntlich keine Balken, daher ist es auf den meisten Platten nur eine langweilige Wasserfläche mit ein paar halbherzigen Inseln. Glücklicherweise ist DW in einer Steampunk-Victorian SciFi Welt angesiedelt, die einem erlaubt, von der realen Welt abzuweichen.
