#miniaturemonday is an awesome concept (and it works too!), but one of the things I notice is that, understandably, people tend to take pics on camera phones, especially as this suits direct-to-Twitter posting. As such it can often be rather difficult to make the end results out, which can be a shame; especially when the poster is asking for feedback or advice on technique.

As such, and because I’m a bit of a photography geek (as well as a #warmonger) I thought I’d put together a post/guide on how to have a good stab at taking pictures with a camera phone (that’s what most of us have to hand at the proud and/or crucial moment, after all) and a couple of bits of cheap but very helpful equipment to have to hand when you’re doing it.
